History and Background
Bio Huma Netics Inc. was founded in 1973 by scientists who discovered a material that improved the ability of plants to absorb soil nutrients. They realized if a plant's root system and leaves could be made more efficient at nutrient uptake, it meant the plant could thrive, increase production and quality with less water and fertilizer inputs. Obviously, such an innovation would have huge benefits for farming, crop production and agronomy worldwide.

The "secret" to Bio Huma Netics' products is Leonardite, a rare humate material (a soft or oxidized coal). Humates are naturally occurring, nutrient-rich derivatives of decomposed plant matter. The highly oxidized Leonardite the company discovered in a remote Idaho mine produced impressive results when applied to farm fields, including improving the soil fertility and the plant nutrient uptake. Bio Huma Netics immediately knew it was a winner.

Micro Carbon Technology™
Bio Huma Netics then developed a proprietary liquid extraction process to get useful organic acids, complex carbons, soluble minerals and other beneficial components from the Leonardite. We call this our Micro Carbon Technology, which is the foundational ingredient of all our products. Over the years, the company identified many other ways its Micro Carbon Technology could biologically improve soils, plant health and even bioremediation.

By adapting and refining that technology, Bio Huma Netics is now able to offer more than 70 successful products for a variety of important uses.
